Psychotherapy refers to a variety of treatments that aim to help identify and work through troubling emotions, thoughts or behavioral patterns.
Becoming who you are, beyond who you were taught to be.
Our team specializes in assisting clients to realize their full potential far past any diagnosis they have ever been given or heard from a provider in the past.
We are here for you to help cultivate the belief that one truly can become more than one’s past and suffering.
We are able and willing to reach out and connect with you. More importantly, with insight and wisdom- teach you and engage you, to reconnect to your authentic self.
Methods we utilize:
- Mindfulness meditation
- Somatic therapy
- Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
- Eye-movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Neurofeedback in conjunction with psychotherapy
Unchanging labels harm everyone.
Let’s challenge them together.
Mindfulness Meditation
We believe the cornerstone of living today is mindfulness.
Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing our attention on the present moment—and accepting it without judgment.
Mindfulness meditation brings a gentle and compassionate way of being with ourselves.
It has been found to be a key element in stress reduction and overall happiness.

Somatic Therapy
The body can hold memories of distress that often the mind is not aware of.
Somatic therapy connects a person’s mind and body by engaging the body’s sensation awareness as a powerful tool for healing.
Somatic therapy can increase self-insight, emotional awareness, and resilience.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach that involves analyzing strategies used by successful individuals and applying them to reach a personal goal.
This technique works to reveal the person’s “map,” the unproductive patterns that make us feel stuck, and then write a new map that replaces those with empowering habits and effective strategies.

Eye-movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR involves moving the eyes bilaterally while processing traumatic memories.
Accessing the memories can help reprocess what is remembered from the negative event.
This reprocessing helps “repair” the mental insult from memory. It can help separate the memory and the feeling of reliving it, and the related feelings can be much more manageable.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
‘Dialectical’ means trying to understand how two things that seem opposite could both be true.
For example, accepting yourself and changing your behavior might feel contradictory. But DBT teaches that it’s possible for you to achieve both these goals together.
DBT uses a balance of acceptance and change techniques- increasing self-understanding and why previous coping mechanisms were chosen, but also assisting in learning to replace these previously harmful coping behaviors with healthy ones.
What determines the therapy modality chosen for the psychotherapy session?
The therapy modality is skillfully directed by the provider specifically with your or your loved one’s healing in mind.
Everyone’s path to wellness is different. Likewise, all therapy modalities have varying strengths to support the mind and brain.
Working on the tools where you are in your healing journey can assist you in getting where you want to be.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
